How to preserve the memory of a loved one online

When a loved one passes, we want to keep more than a name and two dates: a living story — how they laughed, what they did, what they loved. An ordinary headstone holds only a few words. A digital memorial page holds far more.
What a digital memorial page is
It is a dedicated web page devoted to one person. On it you can place:
- photographs — from youth to their later years;
- a biography — a life story, not just the years;
- key dates — birth, passing, and what happened in between;
- family ties — who was related to whom, one shared family tree.
You can send the link to relatives anywhere in the world, and on our map loved ones leave candles and flowers in remembrance.
How to create a memorial page
- Open the map and pick a free spot — a plot or a family burial site.
- Fill in the profile: name, dates, biography, photographs.
- Share the link with relatives — and add them as collaborators so you fill the page together.

Why it matters
Physical cemeteries are often far away — in another city or country. A digital memorial is always within reach: you can visit the memory of a person at any moment, wherever you are. Most importantly, the family history is preserved for children and grandchildren instead of fading with the older generation.
Where to start
Start with a single photo and a few lines. Later you can expand the biography, add images and link the page to the graves of other relatives — and the story of a whole family gradually takes shape.
